Rock 'n' Soul Singers - a community choir established in 2012 in Underwood, Nottinghamshire.

The choir sings Rock, Soul and Pop songs from the sixties onwards.

We will also be appearing on 1st December at Selston for their Christmas lights switch-on, and on December 13th at Underwood Miners Welfare

The Rock ‘n’ Soul Singers have been performing and collecting donations for the Maggie’s Charity based at the City Hospital in Nottingham. On Wed 21st June we welcomed Liz, one of the Centre’s fund-raising team and she told us a lot about the charity and accepted our cheque for £3000.00. We learnt that £600,000 is required every year to run the Centre, which is staffed by NHS nurses and doctors who are dedicated to the care of cancer patients. It is one of many throughout UK, that are situated close to NHS hospitals. They provide professional help and support groups, courses and workshops. We have more performances booked and will donate another cheque later in the year.
